Clear rules for a happier hunt.
These terms apply when an adult buys a personalised digital party product from Cluefetti.
1. Adult purchasers
You must be at least 18, have authority to use all information submitted and be able to supervise or appoint a responsible adult host. A child must not place the order or use the service without adult preparation and supervision.
2. Product, price and order
The order page identifies the product, clue limit, included materials, market and one-off total before payment. Displayed regional prices include applicable taxes. Stripe shows the final total before you pay. There is no subscription.
Your order is accepted when Stripe confirms successful payment. We may reject or refund an order affected by an obvious pricing error, unlawful content, abuse, technical impossibility or suspected fraud. Stripe’s checkout terms also apply to its payment service.
3. Personalisation and delivery
You must check names, age, date, time, venue, RSVP wording, setting and checkpoints before payment. We generate from the information submitted and do not independently verify it.
Delivery begins immediately after payment confirmation. A private download appears on the return page and is emailed to the delivery address. The link expires after 7 days, so save the file promptly. Contact us with the Stripe receipt if delivery does not arrive; we can verify the transaction without asking for your private token.
4. Immediate digital content and cancellation
Where law provides a cancellation period for digital content, checkout asks you to request immediate supply and acknowledge that the cancellation right is lost once delivery begins. We record that acknowledgement. If supply has not begun, contact us immediately. Faulty-content and other mandatory rights are not affected; see the Refund Policy.
5. Licence
We grant the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, print and use the package for one private event. You may make reasonable copies for participants and helpers at that event. You may not resell, publish, upload, sublicense, remove branding for resale, build a competing template library from it or use a consumer package commercially. Corporate use requires a corporate product or written licence.
6. Safety and host responsibility
Generated materials are planning aids, not a risk assessment. A responsible adult must inspect every clue, hiding place and route immediately before play, adapt for participants and venue rules, and supervise throughout. Follow the Safety Standard. Never use roads, vehicles, open water, climbing, appliances, medicines, chemicals, weapons, restricted spaces or unsafe public areas.
7. Faults and corrections
Report missing, corrupted or materially incorrect files promptly and within 30 days where practical. We will provide an appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as required by law. We correct our production errors without charge. Changes caused by information entered incorrectly, changed plans or unsupported printing settings are not product faults, but we may offer a correction or repurchase option. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. Intellectual property and acceptable content
Cluefetti owns or licenses the service, designs, copy, code and artwork. You retain rights in information you provide and instruct us to use it only to perform and support the order. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, threatening, sexually explicit or privacy-invasive content.
9. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer remedies. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses from a consumer purchase, or harm caused by ignoring the Safety Standard, unsafe placement, venue conditions or inaccurate customer information.
10. General
If delay is caused by an event outside reasonable control, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to reduce its effect. If one term is unenforceable, the rest continue. No third party may enforce these terms. We may update terms for future orders; the version accepted at checkout applies to your order.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available under the law where they live.
11. Contact
Email [email protected] and include the Stripe receipt or order reference, not card details or a download token.
